COMPANY HISTORY

The company DOPRAVA ZÁRUBA M&K s.r.o. continues the tradition of the former plant of the state enterprise ČSAD in Vodňany.

The company’s history dates back to 1962 when the construction began of the site consisting of workshops, an administrative building and petrol station. In 1982 all of ČSAD’s lorry transport in the South Bohemian region was moved to the Vodňany plant and lorry transport remained the major activity until 1989.

In 1991 the ČSAD Vodňany independent state enterprise was established. In the years 1992 – 1994 two unsuccessful attempts were made to privatise this state enterprise and so in 1.1. 1995 the enterprise was returned to the ownership of the National Property Fund.

In 1996 another privatisation took place this time by the National Property Fund with the establishment of the firm DOPRAVA VODŇANY – F s.r.o., into which the property was invested of the former state enterprise ČSAD Vodňany. Based on a tender the 100% of the business interest was transferred to the new owner – the company Záruba M&K a.s., which extended its activities to the field of transport.
